Good to Know About Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is an iron alloy known for its resistance to rust and corrosion. This durability is primarily due to the presence of at least 10.5% chromium, which forms a thin, protective layer of chromium oxide on the surface. If the surface is damaged, this layer can quickly reform in the presence of oxygen, providing continuous protection.

Stainless steel is incredibly versatile and is used in a wide range of areas such as architecture and construction, interior design, automotive, medicine, food and beverage, chemicals, energy and power, household items, art, and monuments. Stainless steel can be reshaped and formed, colored, ground, polished to give different appearances to meet a function and requirements. An example is anti-slip protection for pools where there was a certain requirement for slip risk or as facades for building or interior design in offices or home areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.
